Unconsious to Creativity

Unconsious to Creativity

A Poem by Double T

Sleeping is the stage of creativity
First you go to bed,
in a hibernation act
of resting.
The more you are in the hibernation act,
the less quickly you get loss the grip
on the real world.
As you sleep,
you start to dream.
When you dream,
ideas appear in that place.

You can pick any idea
you want from the cloud of yout thoughts.
Like flying on your bed,
and fighting aliens on mars
with lasers and missles equiped
for rocket bed.
Waiting on the beach,
for the mermaid to meet you,
when she walks on land.
Or maybe even being on cloud,
made up of cotton candy while,
you are enjoying the sweetness of flavors,
in the sky.
Face off against,
your greatest fears and escape the unexptected dangers
as you progress through your nightmare obstacles.
Like hiding in the closet from the shadow man
who wants to take you away.
Being in a business building,
and trying to escape when you find out,
that the business building is owned by the infamous beast from the book or Revelations.
Getting out of a hotel party when you find out,
that this part is dedicated to the murderous Babylon city.
Swimming or surfing away,
from the warth of the invisible sharks,
in the hard current waters.
Getting swalloed by a large purple whale,
and trying to survive in his stomach.
Or getting unexpectly getting eaten,
by T-Rex from Jurrasic Park and waking up
with the feeling of relive.
The Nightmare fields can be a dangerous place.
But when you face them,
they can be an idea from your head.
When you wake up,
you wake up full of ideas,
in your head.
Creativity has just spawned,
from your sleep.
The dream is the ultamite computer research center.
From dangerous nightmares,
to fun enjoyable dreams.
The unconsious level,
is the only level to go,
for ideas.

Nice Job, Double T, your poem caused me to think of the four stages of consciousness, (which also serve well in the creative process) first there is Waking Consciousness where we spend most of our time... awake and aware, next is Dream Consciousness where we act out the roles of every character... we are godlike in our dreams... this is where the subconscious is attempting to communicate with the conscious self (personal mythology) third is Deep Sleep Consciousness where we have absolutely no awareness at all, (rest and rejuvenation) Finally, the last stage is The Silence In-between... The Mysteries of Life. (That which we do not know or understand) We go through this process every 24 hours of our lives. Creatively speaking the process is the same as well... mostly from the first two stages Waking and Dreaming interaction but also from complete rest and mystery. Thanks for sharing this poem and reminding me of this process.
