Nation of Youth's

Nation of Youth's

A Chapter by Double T

In a nation full of youths

It’s crazy adolescence

The system is pressuring it

Teens are guided by their parents

When they leave too soon,

The teens go through life on their own with no guidance

And come looking for trouble

Teens are a flock of sheep

The prodigal adolescence

Going into the wild world

They don’t need herders

They need shepherds

Shepherds who will guide them to the right path

Teens will eventually squander

But they must be picked up when they fall

A nation of youths

A prodigal nation

A lost nation guided by the light

Author's Note

Double T
This poem was inspired from the hit song "Youth of a Nation" by P.O.D.

I didn't intreperite the song, I just wrote my feelings of it when I listened to it. That's the power of music.

What do you think of the message of the poem? Do you think it's reasonable enough?

Good job, I like artistic interpretations of art, especially music. There is wisdom and understanding in your poem, nicely done.
