This is the end of days in perspective.

There’s a prophecy

Written in blood

It’s the prophecy of Matthew 24

The time of Judgment Day

 

It starts of with the destruction of temple

The fall of Jerusalem will be at hand

For something worse coming

 

Deception will be a parasite

With the rise of false prophets telling lies

The coming of false messiahs feeding conflicts

Nation against nation

Kingdom against kingdom

Earthquakes and plaques everywhere

The beginning of Doomsday

 

But as chaos spreads rapidly,

The sun will be black

The moon with no light

Stars will fall from the sky

Heaven will be temporally closed

 

But where there’s darkness

There’s hope for us

The light

The light of the savior

The chapter of Matthew chapter 24 was the inspiration for this poem.

good work, keep it up. I like the running theme... curious to see where you take it from here. Simply as suggestion, perhaps create more of the antagonist point of view... what is the opposite view?? Just a thought. Love your work. Keep writing.
