Crepuscule

Crepuscule

A Poem by Avelina

I am stepping out to view myself, to look at what has transformed.
I am plaster, I seeth inside and the flames in reach suck on my flesh.
Beleaguered unto me that brokenness charges resplendent art.

Inflatus to find vestige in crepuscule.
Desired comeuppance and guilt proceeds.

As does the rot.

There is beauty in pain, fervor in laceration. I pleasure the prick and the impression of vigor.
