Hoops

Hoops

A Poem by Audrey Owens

Hoops

Tonight, I am truly one of the Walking Dead.

So tell me why I should keep living by
The rules and standards
You hold so dear,
When you’re only holding them up as hoops
For me, your little b***h,
To jump through?

Hah! Some people treat others like their domesticated pets. They just want them to follow all of their orders/commands.

We must be free ourselves with these dictators. Live freely. Live with your own set of rules. That's freedom.

Nice poem. :)

Rather bitter, but concise. Perhaps you should find someone new to jump through them with you?
