Tears of the Blind

Tears of the Blind

A Poem by Reyes Mir
"

This Short Poem Is Targets The Religious One Can have.

"
I Stood On The Line,
Waiting For Something That Would never Happen,
The Harsh Reality That I Knew,
But Didnt Believe,
I Couldnt Bear The Thought, That My Mind played Tricks On Me,
Or Maybe On Itself,
Was He Coming, Or Did He Feel,
That I, His beloved,
Was Not Worth His Time,
Was He Listening, To My Screams Of Pain,
I Stood Waiting, Waiting Till The Evening,
The Night, The Dawn,
Pondering Over,
The Promise He Made,
To Me.
I Stood On The Line,
Wondering, If It Was Worth Standing There,
But I've Been Standing Here,
A Hundred Years, And A Day More Wouldn't Hurt.
