Black moon, so soon

you'll be a'rising

knelt before your sooty alter

prayed, one wolf---

To keep the other's at bay

One wolf to keep the other's away

You show your dark face

no one could replace

The elder of the second new

to me, one wolf---

to keep the other's depraved

one wolf to keep me enslaved 

Blood, harvest, honey, new and blue

But no light shines under the black moon

I see you in my dreams, as black as soot

Your deep sapphire eyes, and inky foot

One shaggy black wolf to keep the other's away

One hungry-sooty wolf to keep them all at bay

This is what I pray---

Keep the pack from me away

Keep me, heal me, here I'll stay

One black moon rising before 

The alter, I knelt, and quietly prayed 

One black moon wolf to keep them at Bay

Incantations, recitations

Black moon magic did invoke

A diamond collar for your yoke

Silver tipped ears, and fangs of white

Yours did make a fearsome sight

One black moon wolf did conjure fright!

Black wolf, now my bidding you will do

Your Queen commands your obedience

After all, it was I who utterly wrought you

Now go forth and protect me hence

You have the power of the unseen

The essence of a black moon's dream

Go forth, my wolf, and protect my honor

And all that would, my power, desecrate

For within the moon's rising of an hour

Smite all who'd rob my maiden's shape

Along your blood thirsty, battleground tour

Flush out thine enemies, and annihilate

Return to me unharmed, my beloved

My shape-shifting, fearsome knight

One black moon wolf doth show his might

Wrought from a black moon's dust

Sadly, this love was only for one night---
