Sleepy HallowA Poem by Autumn KFirst Halloween poem Enjoy
The sun is setting
And the moon is rising Not quickly Slowly, taking time The pinks, purples, oranges, and red Wash over the small town Bathing it as the crisp autumn night rolls in Leaves rustle, blown by the wind The town is quiet But the disturbance is clear The stillness is for a reason The sound of hooves galloping echoes in the distance Suddenly, like the wind, the headless horseman blows in And Sleepy Hallow begins once again © 2013 Autumn KAuthor's Note
