A Poem by Aspala

I remember when you were small
You wanted to be so tall
You were 12 and I was 8
in need of trouble you weren't a minute late
At night you would look up at the stars
they were your favorite by far
You had 1 Dream;
"I want to be an astronaut"
No, no instead
You wanted to be shot
The times You were so sad and had fear
You never shed that one single tear.
But now as I saw you all grown up
your tears spilled and would fill up a cup
I don't know when you took that noose
Alone and shaky
why was it you, that I had to loose
As you wanted to end your life
you always thought about taking that knife
From being in Band
to holding a noose in your hand
You were great and happy
Why did it have to be
Don't leave me in time of trouble
Since you left lets make suicide a double
On your birthday
There is no one to sit behind the cake
its just your spirit here to stay
Please come back
with your goldfish crackers and sandwiches as snacks
I miss our memories
Wanted to grow up together and see
The stars don't twinkle
when you are gone
the cupcake doesn't drop its last sprinkle
from when you eat it
The tree that we planted where you were found
hasn't been touched and  still in bound
As its leaves fall
I remember when you were small
You wanted to be tall
You wanted to leave earth and visit the stars
and when you left you didn't see those stars
you left me with scars.
