Eating From A Can

I’ve been eating from a can lately
But I find it comforting,
There’s no need of pretense,
And set-up’s the easy part.

I find no solace in its warmth,
As, it is the essence of fast food.

The loose runny meals are best.
No need for utensils;
The container serves as bowl and spoon,
And when done, it’s perfect
For dipping pond water on the run.

The ambiance defies the finest establishments.

Find me a five star
That can put up room décor
With live entertainment
That is constantly on the move and changing.
Since I know what I want and what I like,
I always get the best service.

Tipping is the best part.

The waiter is always courteous.
And if not on time
Is always empathetic with your inner needs.
The staff is at your beckon call.
When time to pay the bill
You don’t have to figure percentages,
And you get to pocket everything.

Bone Appetite!

Ha I love it!
Nothing beats the simple pleasure of a meal served from a can- cheap, easy and virtually no cleanup

Well I enjoyed the poem. Only I assume in line 23 you meant to write "Beckon call" not "beck and call" Seeing as the former is the used phrase not the latter. -Smirks-
