Prologue

A Teaser...

And Weep not for me, for I am Immortale…

And Ever shall I not Sleep,

For Grief shall never leave this Shell...

            Some have called me ‘monster’, and monster I have been, when the occasion needed me to play that role.  Always, however, I have been protector, guardian, even avenging angel. 

            However, this story isn’t really about me, although I do figure in it significantly.  For I am the reason the story exists at all; were it not for my creation, my Creator would not have been cursed by those blighted fools that call themselves ‘Men of God’, would not have had to flee his home, nor his descendants hindered by bearing only girl children.
