The Never Ending Fall 💜

The Never Ending Fall 💜

A Poem by Austin_Tyler
"

How I fell in love, how I'll never be able to stop.

"The Never Ending Fall"

It all started one late night,
sitting behind that closet door.
You layed with your back to my chest,
mine comfortably in the corner.
Our hearts would beat as one ever since.
Pushing me closer to the edge,
with every breath you fought to grasp.
Our minds were racing,
running on the same track.
Our souls connecting,
as breaths became harder to have.
You knew what I would say,
before I whispered to your ear.
I knew what what you were thinking,
so I was no longer scared.
I opened my heart to yours first.
The words erupted from my chest,
you squeezed as though you'd never had this before.
My eyes had gotten teary,
it just became real to me even more.
You could've stolen those words and ran,
but you gave them right back instead.
The last push I needed,
to fall head first over the edge.
The more time we shared,
with more feelings to come.
The more adventures that came,
with more riddles to spare,
I began to understand.
This place I was falling to,
would never come to an end.
See there is no bottom,
no ground to crash this in.
No question I've found true love,
this fall has no end.
The more I hear you speak,
your words are my adrenaline.
Every time I catch you stare,
I long to know you more.
To connect more with your soul,
the way fire does with air.
I lose this world when I look i  your eyes,
it all falls away and I find myself,
behind your gaze.
The way it feels to hold you,
your skin like gold when I stroke your face.
Drawn together by gravity,
when we hole one another,
the world can't even bare it,
it just begins to break.
There's an amzing fate,
out there for you and me.
Only God can see it though,
I'm falling even harder now,
since the both of you are with me.

that is a very sweet dedication. the recipient must be touched and impressed. There was a few lines that stood out strong i thought. "minds racing, running on the same track. "no ground to crash this in." lines like that made this a stellar poem!
