The waitress at the cafe

The waitress at the cafe

A Poem by Augustus Waters
"

A poem about someone who would be greatly missed if she were to leave.

"
Ignore the rude comments.
Be yourself around the customers.
We're allowed to feel emotions,
As servers in the cafe.

The lights may be dim,
And the guests may be unruly,
But working here has brought me to you.

The cafe can always use the spices you bring to the table,
With every dish you serve.
Always something new, but sad.
I've grown very used to that

Hikari, we could use you here.
Here in the busy aisles of the cafe.

I rarely indulge requests by one for another's work, but this one was great, with splendid imagery, it really takes the reader there.
