UntitledA Poem by Austin Skye ElsborgHere's my latest sonnet. I'm not sure if it makes any sense.
In your dreams I stay awake
Restlessly wander in your head In your mind my body will shake Curling under the covers of your bed Without you here emptiness will creep Filling me up and pulling me down In the corner lies your things in a heap Waiting for you to return from town The hallways are silent in the house Memories drift across the floors The fires of loneliness they douse Thoughts of you then sooth the sores Helping the aches my broken heart The one I had, that you tore apart. © 2012 Austin Skye ElsborgAuthor's Note
