Free Spirits Must Fly

Free Spirits Must Fly

A Poem by Hippy
"

to a friend of mine who will get to it eventually

"
You're a free spirit;
Don't tie down.
See the world. Soar free.

Open the door, breathe;
Cast the stones.
Spread your wings and flee.

Don't hold the boulders;
Rocks don't fly.
Free spirits need skies.

To be free soar high.
Ease your mind;
Can't fly troubled skies

We're both free spirits;
together though...
We become the stones

So please, skip the rocks,
wish 'em best,
hold heart, it won't forget
                                      Austin

You are a great poet,
but a born songwriter.

This is a classic piece.
