St. Valentine's Twisted TaleA Poem by Hippymy story of st. valentine and its not gonna be what you expectSt. Valentine was a man Who inspired love all across the land He was a powerful man, full of love He filled all his people with the holy essence Called love
He soared them on high On loves wings they would fly Till this day When he would rip their hearts from the sky
He adored their love He wished them to love more He wanted their hearts Forever to adore
It was a sick game that he played Putting people together To join them forever In this holy act
Then on their honey moon He would enter their room And take out his dagger Cutting open the two Making their blood splatter
Tearing out their hearts Sewing them together So there love would always remain Sewn together, lasting forever
He took all these hearts Keep them together In the back room Where their love would remain Sewn together forever
Until the day King Claudius came The king and his men Caught Valentine in the act Of sewing the lovers That he had just hacked
So they took him To the prison Where he would spend his last days
That’s when the people got their turn to act Beating and stoning him Breaking his back Then they took him to the guillotine Where he would take his last breathe And with his last words he said
“I joined them together In the life that they had Marriage was the only way To make their love last Though I knew they would pass And there love would seize to last So I took there organ of love And sewn it together Where their love would truly last forever”
Then the guillotines blade dropped And Valentine’s head rolled off Deleting this mans cruel, cruel plans for eternal love © 2010 HippyAuthor's Note
