Nowhere Left to Hide

Nowhere Left to Hide

A Poem by Aurora Lynn

You’ve seen so much,

experienced so much,

Life itself grows weary.

So much death and not enough life,

you try to find balance.

But no matter how hard you try,

you cannot escape the death that follows you.

You are like a storm.

You rage by on a whim,

bringing destruction to all those you touch.

You show the universe to so many others,

Yet they can’t give you

What you're missing inside

Maybe what you’re looking for lies not with others,

but within yourself.

But can you bear the things you will find there?

So much pain!

How can you bear it?

You build your armour high and strong.

You guard the little piece of yourself

that is left then run away,

retreating.

Yet no matter how strong

Your defences are,

The agony of all those you

Lost still gets through,

Forcing you to retreat

Farther within yourself.

How long will it be

before there is nowhere left to hide?

Woot! Doctor Who poems!
I loved this, because it's dark and brooding, just like he Doctor :3

That's great it fits the dr so perfectly. Before I figured out it was about him that's who I thought of. Sorry I haven't been on in awhile but I'm working on that.

Dude. Epic.
This is great! My problem with the Doctor is his constant moral dilemmas, which is just another reason to be so satisfied with A Good Man Goes to War. I loved it when he did that whole Captain Runaway thing, that was just so out of his character. Oh, and the "Good men don't need rules. Now's not the time to find out why I have so many."
Anyway, not only is this A DW poem, but it is also written amazingly. Therefore, you win. Win what? I have absolutely no idea, but it's good.

:D
We might go to London, England, so I might force mi madre y mi hermana to go see the DW Studios. Think of how awesome it`ll be.
Very awesome poem though. I can see the connectionsanalogies you made even if you don`t know it...
