Haven't Made My Mind UpA Poem by Aurelius JayA short poem of future contemplation
I could never be an actress,
Though many characters I know;
I’m too shy and reserved,
to put myself out on show.
I could never be in media,
cause my feet get cold as clay,
my brain gets all muddled,
and I’m horrid on display.
I could never be a painter,
I don’t have a steady hand,
And I don’t think I’m so technical
as to meet artistic demand.
I could never be a teacher-
cant dwell among cough and cold,
Though teaching young minds
for the future is a proposition bold.
I could never be a nurse or doc
cause blood just makes me faint,
so lets face it, and admit
I just cant be what I ain’t.
Well I haven’t made my mind up
there’s so many things to be;
But one thing is for certain
I wont be a nobody.
