Haven't Made My Mind Up

Haven't Made My Mind Up

A Poem by Aurelius Jay
"

A short poem of future contemplation

"

I could never be an actress,
Though many characters I know;
I’m too shy and reserved,
to put myself out on show.

I could never be in media,
cause my feet get cold as clay,
my brain gets all muddled,
and I’m horrid on display.

I could never be a painter,
I don’t have a steady hand,
And I don’t think I’m so technical
as to meet artistic demand.

I could never be a teacher-
cant dwell among cough and cold,
Though teaching young minds
for the future is a proposition bold.

I could never be a nurse or doc
cause blood just makes me faint,
so lets face it, and admit
I just cant be what I ain’t.

Well I haven’t made my mind up
there’s so many things to be;
But one thing is for certain
I wont be a nobody.

although i speak fro myself im sure a good nomber fo people would agree, you've hit home, this is percisely what is going through many minds; so many young people and nto so young are going through this very stage of not knowing what to do.

your ryming doesnt sound forced and it flows nicely, quite pleasent on teh ears.

in both the technicality and idea A+
write on!
