A Poem by Mother Maggie

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
Twirling dervish
crimson and gold
churning roaring
paints this chaotic landscape

I--laughter of madness
dance in the quickening
howling! shrieking! shouting!
challenging the chill winds
embracing the tempest

loosing all thought
I am one with the raging storm
loosing all
I become all

torrent—tempest—treetops tipping
pulling me! beckoning me!
riding the cold breath of Gaia
I AM THE STORM
