Wind Dancer

Wind Dancer

A Poem by Mother Maggie

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
she dances
caressed by desert wind
swaying, undulating

her form
stooped, gnarled--scarred by desert sand
yet full of grace and beauty
wind dancer

her dance
timeless, unhurried, ancient
movements in slow precision
an eternal cosmic ballet

The word choice coupled with the rhythm makes for an excellent piece of writing. Thank you very much for sharing.

Bravo,
I gather no directness from this, but find beauty in it's ability to mold beautiful yet suddenly black and white images within my mind. Very much I envisioned stars in the desert sky as if I were looking from another rock other then third.
Beautiful piece Maggie.
Sincerely
Christopher
