Vision of Awakening

A Poem by Mother Maggie
"

This is a 1st draft, based on a vision that appeared while I was meditating about the conflicts happening between the mainstream religions of the world.

Mother Maggie
During an early morning meditative walk
a vision appeared in my mind’s eye.

I was hovering up high over a vast plain
in the center of this plain was
a great towering Mountain with beautiful trees
marching across its lower slopes and crystalline
rivers cascading from it’s megalithic cliffs.

I noticed a multitude of people
they were converging on the Mountain from all directions
each path was straight-coming in from each horizon
they centered on the Mountain like wheel spokes

occasionally, armies from the different paths
would fight each other.
I realized that they were battling over
which path was true
over which view of the Mountain was the correct one.

Traveling as they were—straight path with blinders
they could only see one facet of the Mountain
of the Divine—one part of the One
I saw a fainter—less traveled pathway
it was the sacred spiral

The Spiral went round and round
each time drawing closer to the Divine Mountain
each pass revealed greater detail of each side
each beautiful face of the One.

As time passed—more and more people
started to travel the Spiral
As time passed—there were less wars
As time passed—the mainstream myths were shattered
and the Divine Light grew stronger in each soul
a myriad of starbursts echoing the universe.
the fragmenting of spirit was undone
and humanity was welcomed back into
the collective consciousness

Sounds like what I've experienced along my Shamanic journey. Excellent read and write.
