The Snowman Cries

The Snowman Cries

A Poem by Mother Maggie
"

This is a flashback to the 80's, if you remember the falcon and the snowman you'll get the reference. The tears are for the death of liberty...wantonly slaughtered for profit...

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
In the distance
the marching feet echo
a death nell
and in the air the stench of a vast rotting corpse
mixed with the smoke of our Constitution
burning to mingle with the ashes of our Bill of Rights

Freedom…Liberty
Lie dead on the ground
And I, like the Snowman, melt from the inside
Tears buried deep in my soul
Open mourning…too late
THIS IS NOT AMERICA!
She died long ago…
