Zero Christ

Zero Christ

A Poem by Mother Maggie
"

This was written years ago at the end of a relationship with someone I cared deeply for who selfdestructed on crack. For some reason, he saw me as angel, saint, goddess, savior all in one.

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
I am not your hero
I am not your Christ
Crusifiction zero
I’m not your sacrifice

You nailed me to the cross of your addiction
And pierced my soul with your raging obsession
Blazing in the night compulsion’s flame creeps higher
As my love turns to ash on your funeral pyre

Pyro pyro burning bright
Chasing your vile dream
Lucifer’s own crystal blight

I am not your hero
I am not your Christ
Crusifiction zero
I am not your sacrifice

Very nice,
I like this kind of mental imagery it is striking and almost offensive creating immediate emotional reaction in many readers. You captivate me, but leave me with a question of what did it mean? I liked this.
Sincerely
Christopher
