Clear Conformity

Clear Conformity

A Poem by Mother Maggie
"

Political satire sung to the tune of "I can see clearly now". The first line "I can see clearly now my brain is gone" was tossed at me by my sig oth, Russell Munroe and I took it and ran with it...

Author's Note

Mother Maggie
I can see clearly now my brain is gone
All my subversive feelings have disappeared
Gone’s the dissenting fog that had me blind
It’s gonna be alright…alright
All conformacists say
It’s gonna be alright…alright
All the hypocrits say

Look all around
There’s nothing but conformity
Look straight ahead
There’s nothing but hypocrisy

I think I can fake it now free will is gone
All independent thinking has disappeared
Gone are subversive thoughts that had me blind
It’s gonna be alright…alright
All conformacists say
It’s gonna be alright…alright
All the hypocrits say
