Author's Note

Mother Maggie
A brief candle—melting snowflake
Each life passes
Too quickly—too quickly

Each soul dons
Costumes—characters in this
The ongoing corporeal play
Roles too soon end

Yet life of spirit
Life of soul
Infinite and undying
Marches on

Friends—family—part of the One
We are forever unending
The inseparable eternal
The infinite Divine

I really enjoyed this. 1st, 3rd, and 4th stanzas were quite good...if anything, I think the 2nd could be stronger, but that's just me being hypercritical....this was a very good piece. Thank you so much for sharing.

Beautiful. Each stanza is like a seperate poem in itself. A single life lived, passing at its concluding line, being reborn in a new incarnation with the begining of each new stanza, yet as ever part of an inseperable whole.
