Wicked Boy

Wicked Boy

A Poem by AugustLoving
"

Character description based on someone who has met him and maybe has some sort of interest in him.

"
Cigarette smoke, sage, cinnamon, and anise
A bitter sweet mix lingered
Upon pale smooth skin
Marked with stunning black ink
Symbols
Meanings
Hidden stories she'll never know

Some grace his body as pale white slashes,
Others ink embedded beneath
Like black tears,
Red lies,
Blue fears,
Yellow memories.
Traced against skin
That tingles with mysterious energy.

A bit of dark humor to taste,
A dashing smile to twist at the dagger
A little deeper into her heart
Tugging at her heart strings
Releasing the black,
The rage,
The angst,
The hurt,
and pain,
and tears,
and dreams...

They haunted her
Bottled up inside until
until he released them
With a single touch.
A trembling hand,
A sweet kiss,
Flavored with smoke and mint
Set it all free
Like a serpent tangled around her inner daemons
Ready to strike
To be free of the horror and suffering.

Interesting piece, is this a character profile from a book your have written? I'd be interested in reading it!
Your use of colour in the second stanza really adds to the piece.
Good work :)
