Come, the Dawn

Come, the Dawn

A Poem by Devashish Kumar

Come, the dawn.
Sprinkle the horizon with
bronze, gold and crimson.

Come, the wind.
Make her dance with
leaves and branches.

Come, the rain.
Wake her with a gentle
splatter on her window.

Come, the dusk.
Dapple the dark night
with shimmering stars.
