![]() dinner for 2A Poem by August
I read my book upside down
You call me silly and we laugh it off But when the time comes, you leave me in my closet alone Set the final nail on my dusty coffin I like my eggs sunny side up So we have them scrambled instead When i throw up, you flush my reasoning, rinse me with your kisses- "You're making a big deal out of nothing" I ignore my well wishers doubts You're my baby and I'm yours Keep telling myself that as you watch me die A woman's instincts never lie I make your favourite peach pudding Don't mind the rashes, oh you didn't? Take me to my favourite store just to roar- baby, are you my friend or foe ? 'He holds me tight, then he lets me go' I eat your lies for lunch and poison for dinner "I love you baby" in the moment of suspicion When my mind's rotten and eyes hollow, you're still the angel I'll follow Seal my body- no need for postmortem © 2025 AugustReviews
