Ikigai II

Ikigai II

A Poem by August

Dearest Ikigai,
Your doe eyes get me everytime,
the way it squints when you smile.
The callous on your finger, i wonder who it is that you write so much about.

Dearest ikigai,
The scars on your hand, why my love?
no, come to me, let me heal you.
Your hand on my head, patting me when i whine,
oh how much i wish i was yours and you were mine.

Dearest ikigai,
You are so grey my dear, and I'm blue,
let's be each other's ikigai, together just me and you.
I want to be your sun, and you my moon.
We'll see each other at dawn, i promise we will, soon..
