Ikigai

Ikigai

A Poem by August
"

Can we be each other's ikigai?

"
She had brown eyes that seemed to be lost in something
With little eyebags like she had no sleep
And lips that could only form something that you can barely call a smile
And scars that looked like she was done with the world and its lies.
Hands bigger than mine and a fragile heart,
She looks so ordinary yet so intriguing.
Should I be looking at her so fondly
when I know the ending..

Damn this is so deep, and fragile, and warm... and i loved the title because it says even you couldn't say in the poem... makes it even deeper. This is so so good. So lovely written, felt a little hug in it. Hope this story ended well
