My Dear Josh.

My Dear Josh.

A Poem by Autumn Inman

It's taken every breath from my body.
And all the love I could give.
We've come so far to just give up.
Let's keep running, never looking back.
You once told me that our love was immeasurable.
But I know how much I love you.
I told you our love was fearless.
You assaulted it just to see.
I guess that's what I love about you.
How you can fight me, then love me.
If tomorrow were forever, I can't wait to go to sleep.
But for now I'll just lay in this lonely bed and think of you.
I'm waiting for you to come home, to enter our room.
And to lay in our bed, kicking me in your sleep.
Mature love is about accepting eachother's flaws.
Feeling secure enough to know our love cannot die.
I admit I still get jealous, and over protective.
But in the end I know your mine, forever.

Accepting flaws, always important. I know I always kick my man at night, kicked him off the bed once too!

Everyone falls into something and I fell into writing. Whether it's good or not I'm not sure, I just scribble when I get the chance. Whatever comes out comes out. I have been dating my boyfriend for a.. more..
