A Poem by Audrey Rey

I’m not trying to
be eccentric
or trying to
excuse the
things you are
known to do
and most of all I
am not being
blinded.
It’s in the state of
clarity
that I comprehend
the silver lining
of your flaws
your disorientation
and your
convictions based
on the turmoil of
your mind.
It’s in that state
that I truly know
how much you
have given me
and how
strongly I am not
willing
to let you go.

Testimony is written all over this one... I liked the flow and ease of the entire read... really gets the reader and the words capture this in detail...
