A Poem by Audie G. Couch

A strike at the very core of our nation.
Mindless siege.
No honor, or Morals.
Villains; radical thugs,
Illustrated in their depravity.
It makes me ill, sad, and
Most of all angry.
Now, the U.S. hangs her head in shame,
Trying to deal with what happened; and
Forced to listen to what others have to say.
Allies, and enemies alike.
With all the horrible things that have occurred.
I feel there's no end in sight.

I do agree. I will be glad when the old leader are gone and maybe. We can improve the USA. Last two weeks. Our leaders looking tomfollery. I am hoping for better days.

Me too, Coyote, me too.
What has happened this week is a small blot in your history. Each nation has it's own blemishes. Ours has a chequered past too. The future looks brighter. I feel your pain here Audie.

Thanks for your comment Chris, and for understanding.
This poem is filled with volumes of meaning that is so well versed. I also like the detailed imagery like in "the U.S.hangs her head in shame." Excellent write. Tyfs
