Baby Brother (Posted: Dec. 7, 2020)A Poem by Audie G. Couch
Since the first time I saw your little fingers, and toes
I just wanted to help you grow, And grown you have; Into a fine, strong young man. Knowing this helps me to feel less sad, That your baby years have come, and passed. I love you baby brother, and for me You must know there could be no other. You are one of kind, A gem, a jewel. Deep inside my heart There isn't a string you couldn't pull. There you will forever remain, The memories of you, untainted, claimed.
