Snow

Snow

A Poem by C Mei
"

For a dear friend

"

Snow

The evening stillness broke
when a gasp escaped her lips
and echoed through the winter
precipitation.  Arms stiffened
from the arctic breeze,
she bends her slender figure
at the waist and hides
behind the ocean
of her hair.
But though cold daggers carve
upon her naked breast,
what patterned steel
can quell romance
within a faithful heart?
My dear, my dear,
if only you did know
how tempests fail
to dim your brilliance.

About
Some say I'm simple, others say I'm complex and difficult to decipher. On one day I could be here, on another I could be somewhere else. I suppose the only part of me that does not drift and wander ar.. more..
