Where It Ends

Where It Ends

A Poem by Atton Brown
"

Me thinking About death...

"

Thinking about where it all ends

To say goodbye to love’s and friends

To lie in the earth and never awaken

To not breathe at all, even when shaken

It’s a peculiar feat

The fate we meet

Because every soul

Will pay this toll

And in death’s eyes, we are all equal

So close your eyes, one last time and being life’s sequel

Every mistake you made will be of no importance

Everybody floats here, they walked through the door, hence

Death being a present

Given to every king, queen and peasant

It will be given to you

Once you’ve done all you can do

So why cry

When I die?

You should smile and elate

Be happy I passed, cuz you’ll join me

Just wait…
