colourz

I did write it oddly on purpose.

Your eyes were green,

a modest hue,

the ocean blue 

grew of my heart,

never did the white carnation

give i did

fade and wither

but beauty of colours 

always shiver

for the past gave me faded memories 

but the colours never did.

I really like this! Something I always appreciate about poetry is you have so much freedom with your word choice! It's not like writing an essay where you use what best fits your vocabulary and subject. Rather, it's choosing the words that reflect you. I love the words you chose.

Thank you. I also highly agree, I was self taught in poetry rules , so I formed my own , I never listened in English class, because I dissagree, there is no set way to express yourself, no set patterns of words , poetry is words expressing yourself in its truest form , with new styles and ideas always forming.
