Greed

Greed

A Story by grayscale

The lions hoards
the lakes and fords,
lets the lambs thirst to death
and shepherds blind
to all their kind
to let the lions play
upon their sleep
they often weep
and wish they all hath died

A Nice story in your style! The greed with cruelty when prevails causing loss to others makes it unjust to accept.

Very well thought out and written. Even though I couldn't quite understand the message, I assume it has to do with the lions' greed, or simply greed in general. I love how you used animals as the main focus in this poem, making me think about things like dominance. Great job!
