I did not understand

Without you I become distant

Without you I was trapped

Fighting to be free

 

I would escape for a time

But quickly go back into hiding

I was still a prisoner of my own design

What could save me from this

 

Eventually I released you

It was amazing

It was freedom at last

Then it all came crashing down

 

With your release you had opened to pain

You are also dangerous and you take control

However I will not lock you away

We must learn to live as one
