Obscure Shadows

Obscure Shadows

A Poem by Atomixla-key

Obscure Shadows

They walk among you, yet you never see them.

Tentatively speaking his mind to yours, while you covert

The popularity of ravenous beliefs.

These are the unknown

That suffer in silence for the welfare of the choir

The unsung heroes

fragmented for your stability

They are the obscure shadows

Denied credit to pay the debt of society

Heightened in their lowly humility

Hated

Scorned

Forgotten

These are the obscure shadows

That suffer in silence for the welfare of those who don’t care

Whose instability mends the pieces of the selfish

Meek

Available

Devoted

Mad at the world. Yet loving you enough to bear it on their shoulders

These are the obscure shadows

Who wear your crooked smiles

Carry your burdens

Cherish you

Care

Yet are invisible to you

We need you to shine so we can exist

All we ask is for you to incline your ears and hear us

We are here to help

Love Yours: The Obscure Shadows
