Fear Not

Fear Not

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

If we spend our lives in fear, what have we gained but fear of fear?

"
I look upon the world and flinch
Fetal in the corners of despair
A world it is! Of unknowns and what-ifs
With so little uncertainties
Filled with monsters and horrors, all too common
But did Atlas shirk his duty? To let the wall fall from his arms?
I gather up the elusive snake -
Courage!
And I greet the new day
