Grudge

Grudge

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

Storm clouds.

"
Why must you be so petty!
You follow a path of mindless savagery.
Stop and think, just once,
It doesn't hurt,
I swear.
Just breathe.
You let things rule you.
Thrashing like vivid tentacles.
Barbs digging in deep.
You go under again.
Grudges beget grudges.
The cycle begins anew.
