Human Refuse

Human Refuse

A Poem by Xanthous Crow

Sometimes it can't be helped,
I see you every day,
I do my best to give you warning and wisdom
But you wouldn't listen anyway
So now I'm holding my breath.
I've got nothing left to say.
So now I'll let you continue down your path
Do what you will, do what you may.
Hang around corner streets
Swallow down your pills and smoke your weed.
Don't forget to be careful whenever next you jump into the sheets!
You're all the same.
Trillions of a kind.
So don't heed my help - just walk away!
Go and f**k yourself over, I don't mind.
Wolf in sheep's clothing
You use guys like me
For doormats.
But it's okay, I don't mind.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
The bruises of abuse mark you like tattoos.
You're just human refuse.
