A Story by Xanthous Crow

To my Beloved,

You do not know me but I know you. I know a lot about you. How you look, how you dress, the way you talk and how your voice sounds. You see, I see you everyday. You never notice, of course, but every time I lay my eyes on you, my heart skips a beat and begins to flutter wildly. I feel that, every time you pass by me, not noticing, that I can just reach out and grasp you with my fingers and that all will be well.

I'm writing this to tell you something. I want you. Completely and utterly. I want you to be mine. And I am willing to do whatever it is to make that possible, even if it means carving your name into my arms or walking over white hot coals, if need be. I'll do whatever it takes for us to be together and be happy. We'll be so happy together. We'll have a perfect life, a perfect life together and perfect children. Everything will be great. I will be great to you, you'll see!

You might find it odd that I deposited this into your mail receptacle, us having never met or even having converse before. But I couldn't help it. I had no other way to deliver this to you, you see. And I know where you live, so it was an easy choice. Meet me in the local park, three blocks down from your house, tomorrow at twelve noon. Please do show, I'd rather not come to your house to fetch you. We'll have a great time, I promise. I'll be the one wearing the green sweater vest.

From tomorrow, you will be mine.

XOXO
