I Spoke with Angels

I Spoke with Angels

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

Some days I do not know why I bother.

"
Today I spoke with angels,
They didn't have much to say.
They pointed out that which was rather obvious.
(At least to me, anyway)
They told me things that I hated.
Made me cringe as they stated,
That I was on the path of self-harm and decay.
They urged me to reconsider,
All of the evil thoughts in my head.
Told me if I didn't stop,
That I would soon find myself dead.
But I didn't care and I laughed in their faces,
I am weary of life.
It'd be a welcome change!

Today I spoke with angels.
They had nothing at all to say.
