Poet's Lament

Poet's Lament

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

This came from helping a friend with an assignment. Needed to include all of the words: crumpled paper, straw, gravel, green, crash.

"
Writing is a difficult art, bedecked with much crumpled paper,
My mind is grasping at straws, for this is a most frustrating caper,
It is something like stepping barefoot on gravel, my mind begins to wander and travel,
Writing should not be for the green writers, writing their trash,
As horrible as a lethal car crash.
