Baby, There is Only Room for One of Us

Baby, There is Only Room for One of Us

A Poem by Xanthous Crow

Oh, man!
How easy it was to fool you!
To seduce you with lies,
And to comfort you with subtle wiles.
But now I guess it is time to come clean...
(Oh, how I dread to think of it!)
I never really cared,
About your problems and your issues.
It was all a ruse to make me look good and caring
And to let me inside.
And, oh, boy! did I get inside -
Of you and your head and your heart.
And I tore it all up just for the hell of it.
Because, hey, why the f**k not?
I never really cared, babe.
All you were, and ever will be to me,
Is meat.
Baby, there is only room for one of us, here -
And you sure as hell ain't in the picture.

The worst part about this poem is people like thise are all over the world, around every turn and in every alley. They don't seem to have any emotion or feeling, and they just go around in life trying to hurt other people. It's terrible, and yet they do it, and when you ask why "hey, why the f**k not?" It's unfair to so many people and it just isn't right!

As you can probably tell frm ^
This poem painted the perfect picture and demonstrated just what you wanted! Well written
