Where

Where

A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

Where O where?

"
Where, oh where,
Have you flown my dear?
I've lost you in your flight.
Lost amidst a turpentine city skyline -
Shimmering with light.
Why did you run? Why did you go?
Was it something I said?
Is it something I know?
I hope to find you one day, my dear
Because what you left behind is left hollow
Without you, your eyes,
And the way you smell.
I hope to find you one day, my dear,
Despite me being left without hope.

Feel the sense of loss & emptiness in this. Nicely penned.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed :)
Beautiful, and painful you must have felt...
I'm sorry you lost her.

I hope she is back soon :)
Beautiful and romantic,
Full of love.
