I dreamt that I was in a far-off land
Atop my horse I wore armor And bore a sword And across the land I rode In search of you, my lady Imprisoned in a tower By something evil The land was wounded by falling stars The hills were perilous The sky above was many shades of color Always changing But they were always deep And saturated; dark Until the moon shone on me As did the light of a falling star And I saw that I was not a knight And your tower was empty © 2012 Xanthous Crow |
