The little Town Boy

The little Town Boy

A Poem by AthuJathy

It appears to be a deserted place,

very empty and the loneliness might took life.

Sunlight was the only light, night remains dark,

They gather firewood and burn to make themselves warm.

Children sings song as entertainment,

While, men and woman plans for the next day daily wages.

He walks about an hours for worldly knowledge,

Across the dark forest and the deep rivers.

Carrying that old torn bag on his shoulder with some books in it,

His clothes like a rigs, pant have hole on knees,

Wiping his running nose by his dirty hands,

But he had a dream, a dream deeply rooted into his heart.

His good father God listens to his silent prayer,

He never shares his dream to anyone but to God he did.

His dream come true, from land to sky, he achieved.

He had an indomitable spirit and determination,

That wasn’t defeated by any circumstances.

He walk the most difficult way but success was his goal.
